Currently we are looking for a:
 
AML/KYC Process Development and Governance Expert
 
part of our SEB Global Business Centre located in the heart of Warsaw.
 
The main purpose of this role is to initiate, coordinate, inform, support and act as a dedicated contact for teams working with onboardings, reviews, and other KYC related events, in all KYC related questions. Contribute to the business driven developments by taking active part from idea to implementation of processes, products, services, tools and systems.

Your responsibilities:

    • Providing support in building the function, producing and developing work instructions and methodologies.
    • Ensuring expertise in our continuous development of PWM&FO work instructions, processes and procedures.
    • Participating in various business development initiatives to secure successful business deliveries by implementing process related needs.
    • Developing business cases and performing impact analysis by engaging relevant teams and stakeholders to pro-actively propose ways to increase efficiency, reduce operational risks and deliver value.
    • Analyzing and communicating the impact of planned changes on existing and new processes, tools, products or services. Suggesting implementation strategy and desired future state and help to drive implementation.
    • Acting as a dedicated contact for teams, working with KYC related tasks, and provide guidance throughout the KYC process.
    • Ensuring process maps and work instructions are up to date, proposing and implementing process improvements by involving all related parties. 

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

    • Excellent ability to collect, analyze, condense and present data
    • Experience in Procedural Governance, Process Development, Process/Policy/Procedural Oversight in relation to AML/KYC will have priority in recruitment
    • Detailed Knowledge of EU AML Regulatory Framework and Requirements
    • Project management/coordination/implementation skills and ability to work in an agile way
    • Process modelling skills
    • Excellent Written English and ability to compose complex processes into understandable working instructions
    • Work experience in the banking industry
    • Team player attitude
    • Strong drive and analytical abilities
Our newly created division, Private Wealth Management & Family Office (PWM&FO), has an extensive growth agenda during the coming years. One of the major initiatives to support this expansion is to establish an AML/KYC Center within the Global Business Centre (GBC) in the Polish site/branch of SEB AB. The AML/KYC Center is intended to support PWM&FO business units in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Luxembourg. Our ambitions for the new AML/KYC Center are high; beyond regulatory compliance and process efficiency, we wish to build a center of excellence and create a world-class customer experience.
