We are Reporting and Risk Scoring Team in Riga within SEB’s Tech area. We are providing world class
delivery to our users and clients. The main responsibility of the team is to provide services for data capture,
processing and delivery for Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering area.
About the role:
The team is responsible for the maintenance and development of bank applications. Those applications help
SEB to follow compliance and risk regulations. Currently Team is looking for a Tech Lead.
We are a team that works in international environment in our version of Agile and expect that you are ready
to contribute to that.
In this role you will be expected to:
- Establish technical vision within the part of development team (Risk Scoring teammates) and work with developers to turn it into reality;
- Coach and develop technical competences of this part of development team;
- Secure that the team strives towards the target architecture in close collaboration with Architect team and other key stakeholders;
- Be responsible for leading the daily work in technical matters in close collaboration with Scrum Master and Team Manager;
- Take an active role in our Developer Community;
- Security-oriented mindset;
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken. Work execution is related to foreign countries.
Mandatory:
- Programming languages: C# - this is a basis for majority of solutions in the area;
- Databases: MSSQL - experience working with data – SQL queries, doing analysis;
- Integrations: File exchange, REST API;
- File formats: JSON, CSV, XML;
- Platforms: Linux, Open Shift, Windows, Docker;
- Frameworks: Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Design.
Preferable:
- Experience in Google Cloud platform (e.g., Big Query)–this is the future SEB technology, however any other cloud experience is also welcomed;
- Experience with CI/CD–setting up build, test, code analysis, containerization, deployment pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions) we try to simplify and automate work with setting pipelines;
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
Optional:
- Knowledge in Java and Phyton–Google Cloud Platform sometimes related with those, thus would be good we have competences if needed.
Soft skills:
- Good communication skills–be active in communication with stakeholders and tech peers, focusing on solution;
- Focus on quality–testing and writing unit tests for own code is natural way of working;
- Focus on innovation–not everything is optimal from the start, thus team constantly should search for possibilities to improve existing solutions;
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge–the team size is going to be relatively small thus learning, taking ownership of things and sharing experience/best practices within team boundaries is appreciated.

€3,600 - €5,400 a month
Monthly salary range indicated for this position is before tax deduction. The offer for final candidate* will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job.
