We are looking for a new deal captain to join our Corporate Loan Origination team in Oslo!
 
Corporate Loan Origination offers an attractive and international environment in the loan capital markets. You will work alongside experienced colleagues and with some of the most reputable clients and interesting transactions in Norway. It is our fundamental belief that our team culture, centered around co-operation and inclusion, is crucial for our future success. 
 
Clients are mainly larger corporates, family offices or institutional companies. We operate in a dynamic and international environment with 25 motivated and experienced professionals located in the Nordic capitals, London and Frankfurt. We service our clients across Northern Europe through a wide range of loan structures, supporting our clients growth agendas, such as working capital, M&A, capex and the growing importance of transition.
 
About the role
You would be responsible for the advisory, origination, and structuring of loan market transactions, typically as syndicated loans or bridge loan into Debt Capital Markets or equity instruments.

Whilst leading transactions yourself, your role will cover leadership of project teams comprising of professionals across the bank tailored for the specific transaction. We would expect that your leadership values are aligned with supporting and coaching of senior and junior team members. You will report to the Head of Corporate Loan Origination Oslo.
 
To thrive in this role, we believe you have
We are looking for someone with relevant senior experience likely derived from corporate banking, corporate finance advisory, structured loan financing departments, Debt Capital Markets or similar.
 
Thorough understanding of credit risk and a genuine interest in the structuring, negotiating and pricing of loan transactions is key. In addition you bring integrity, a proactive mindset, strong social skills, and a demonstrated ability to establish positive long-term relationships with external clients and internal colleagues.

Fluency in Norwegian and English is a prerequisite.
