Are you a data-driven and communicative Business Controller interested to work with financial advisory and analysis supporting SEB Kort?
SEB Kort Bank is a fully owned subsidiary of SEB, operating mainly in the Nordics, Central Europe and North America after recently acquiring AirPlus. SEB Kort’s business targets two strategic areas; corporates and consumers. In both areas, SEB Kort works from two different brand perspectives: our own brands, and several partner brands. Following the acquisition of AirPlus an integral part is to merge the businesses and become a leading provider of corporate payment solutions in Europe with a global reach.
We are now looking for an experienced Business Controller.
About the role
You will be the responsible Business Controller for a unit/s within SEB Kort, providing your stakeholders with financial advice and ensuring the fulfilment of financial targets. Having a profound understanding of your areas and their opportunities and challenges, is crucial for relevant financial advice and reporting. You will be part of a Nordic team of business controllers, operating in a collaborative setting where you will work for common fundamentals and best practices together with your colleagues. You will also participate and take lead in different projects. You are expected to actively contribute to the continuous improvement of common controlling processes, including the advancement of an increasingly efficient and innovative use of data and related reporting tools, such as Mercur, Agresso, Excel and other Financial IT systems.
As a Business Controller you will be responsible for:
• Target/budget setting
• Continuous forecasting, and analysis, including timely and relevant reporting
• Partner to the management of the areas you support
To thrive in this role, we believe you have
• You have a university degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting with relevant work experience 4-8 years from the controlling area or similar fields. Experience from working in, or close to, management teams is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work effortlessly with large data sets, drawing conclusions and conveying these in an efficient and understandable manner.
• Structured and problem-solving mind-set, focusing on the solutions rather than the problems.
Since we are a European company it is a merit to have some knowledge related to accounting and intercompany. You can combine an attention to details whilst still seeing the big picture. I also expect you to be service minded with good communication in Swedish / Nordic languages and English. Presentation skills combined with the ability to establish and develop relationships with colleagues across divisions and countries.
