We are looking for a highly skilled Process Owner to be a part of our newly established Third Party Risk Management Services (TPRMS) function which is a key function within the Risk Services function of Group & Business Services. About the role:
As a Global Process Owner, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing processes related to third party risk management. You will play a crucial role in ensuring robustness and effectiveness in our TPRM program as well as compliance with the DORA regulation and EBA outsourcing guidelines, while driving change management initiatives. You will oversee the entire TPRM lifecycle, from risk assessments to exit management procedures. The centralised function is currently being established which means this is a unique opportunity to be part of shaping the future of our TPRMS function. You will report to the Head of TPRMS.
Among other responsibilities, you will work with:
- Owning, designing and optimizingthe TPRM lifecycle process including risk-tiering and risk assessment methodologies, due diligence protocols, and governance structures.
- Developing and maintaininginstructions regarding third-party risk management and ensuring that such instructions are clear, actionable, and compliant with internal policies and external frameworks.
- Overseeing and aligning governance structures, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities across the TPRM framework.
- Participating in change management efforts to ensure effective implementation of new processes.
- Ensuring compliance with the DORA regulation and EBA outsourcing guidelines as well as monitoring and responding to regulatory updates impacting TPRM practices.
- Collaborating with various departments to identify and mitigate risks associated with third party relationships.
- Collaborating with the Head of TPRMS and TPRM Risk Managers to validate the metrics and ensure they meet regulatory expectations (e.g., DORA) and are designed to support actionable decision-making and align with operational data and reporting.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for addressing regulatory changes affecting TPRM practices.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree within business administration, risk management, finance or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Professional certifications in risk management or third-party management frameworks (e.g., CRMA, CTPRP, or CISM) are preferred.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in third-party risk management, operational risk, or governance frameworks.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing risk management processes, preferably within third-party risk management.
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks, preferably in highly regulated industries (e.g., financial services). Preferably, knowledge of the DORA regulation and EBA outsourcing guidelines.
- Ability to monitor and adapt to regulatory updates impacting TPRM practices.
- Experience within change management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to align stakeholders, present findings, and support senior management oversight
- Proficiency in relevant tools or systems used for TPRM lifecycle management, such as OneTrust or similar platforms, is a plus
