SEB’s division Large Corporates and Financial Institutions (LC&FI) offers talented students an exciting opportunity to work with banking and finance for a few intense summer months. If you have the ambition, we will support you in growing your potential at SEB this summer!
 
The internship in short
Your internship starts off with an introduction week where you get to know SEB as an employer but also LC&FI as a division. During the introduction you will meet representatives from the division and participate in learning and networking activities. We end the internship with a closing day where we catch up and share about your experience. As an intern, you are recruited to a specific job role where you will be involved in daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of banking. What you will do
Being a lawyer within SEB’s division LC&FI means working closely with the business units to provide legal advice, produce documentation for the various products and services offered to customers and handle governance and business development matters in an international environment.
 
LC&FI Legal is the division’s in-house legal department which provides high quality business enhancing legal services to all business units within the division, based on such units’ and customers’ various needs and requirements. The key responsibilities as a lawyer includes advising and liaising with business units, structuring, reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements and various other legal documentation and engaging in legal research and business development projects.
 
Who are you?
To be successful in your internship with us, you need to have a genuine interest in financial markets, finance- and banking law and corporate law. You are a service-minded team player with a constructive and solution-oriented mindset combined with high integrity. To have completed at least four semesters of the law degree before the internship start is required, as well as excellent skills in spoken and written Swedish and English.
