We are looking for MS SQL Maintainer / Developer to join our growing Trading Regulatory Reporting Team in Riga within SEB’s Technology area. If you are creating and maintaining continuous delivery pipelines with Azure DevOps you could be a great fit for one of the vacancies, but if your strength is archiving and handling ever growing databases, managing daily tasks and boosting our capabilities – we also want to hear from you!
 
As a maintainer / developer you will be expected to:
Provide technical support for end users
Together with your colleagues optimize and enhance system performance
Maintain the existing environment of databases, applications including IT security
Have close collaboration with business analysts, developers and testers.
Handle data re-submissions
Execute routine tasks on daily basis
Execute release deployment
Participate in 16/5 on-call activities
Work off hours to perform maintenance and release activities
 
We believe that you have technical experience and knowledge in:
Microsoft SQL 2+ years of experience (T-SQL basics, SQL server agent)
IT service management and incident handling software (JIRA, Service Now, BMC etc.)
Windows Server administration: Windows Services, MMC, AD users and groups, GPO, IIS, Windows Scheduler, PowerShell
For this position you need to be fluent in English
 
We will consider as advantage:
Knowledge of Dev Ops (Azure or TFS server)or at least experience with similar technology e.g. Jenkins, Travis CI etc.
Basic understanding of DWH design and ETL
SSIS workflow development (designer)
C# and .NET experience
Knowledge of working in an agile way (preferably SAFe methodology)
Prior experience in a regulatory area (e.g. EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR)
Trading product/process knowledge

Monthly salary range for this position: 1800 – 3450 EUR (before tax deduction). The offer for final candidate* will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job.
* Candidate must meet the requirements of Article 34.5 of the Credit Institution Law
