About the role:
We're looking for a Risk Controller who will be working with Rogue Trading Controls, Group Risk Riga department.

Rogue Trading Controls consists of Cancel and Amend (CA), Market Conformity Control (MCC), and Negative and Excessive Margins (NE). It is used to assist with the recognition of trading patterns and identifying rogue trading with impact on risk or P/L and thus constitute a key component of risk management in the Group. Risk Control Trading & Treasury owns the process framework and is part of SEB Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) that is cross-divisional organization with responsibilities for conducting financial crime prevention in business focusing on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Couter Terrorist Financing (CTF), Rogue Trading Controls and others.

As a member of Rogue Trading Control constellation, you will play an important role in setting consistent standards for the handling, controlling, and reporting of the internal (rogue) trading controls.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

    • University degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or similar
    • 1-2 years of experience within financial industry would be considered as advantage;
    • Basic understanding of financial instruments (and/or strong interest in);
    • Strong analytical and time management skills
    • Ability to work with complex and large arrays of data
    • Proactive, self-driven and able to work both in the team and individually
    • Eager to learn new things and accept challenges
    • Proficient in MS Excel
    • Great communication skills and fluency in English. Work execution is related to foreign countries.
    • Experience from working with SQL, VBA and/or Python would be considered as advantage

€1,800 - €2,700 a month
Monthly salary range indicated for this position is before tax deduction. The offer for final candidate* will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
