SEB in Luxembourg serves as the SEB Group's cross-border centre of excellence for private wealth management solutions to Nordic nationals living abroad, supported by dedicated teams in the United Kingdom and Singapore. It is also the base for many of SEB’s funds and offers global custody and related depositary services to financial institutions. We are around 150 employees with more than 20 different nationalities.
 
About the position
The IT department of SEB Luxembourg branch is composed of 24 professionals across five different teams: Core, Digital, Business Intelligence, CRM, System and Operational Support.
Its overall objective is to ensure that SEB has the required organizational capabilities to successfully execute its business strategy.
The Business Support Officer plays a key role in bridging Business and IT development by delivering high quality services in a timely manner.
 
As an Olympic Business Support Officer, your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-          Providing support to users of key business applications (e.g., Olympic, Oly-PMS, X-Gen, etc.)
-          Drafting correction or improvement requests to be sent to external providers (e.g., ERI Bancaire)
-          Installing and testing deliveries from ERI Bancaire for Olympic and related modules
-          Analysing user requests and needs for business applications’ improvements, proposing solutions, or writing corresponding development requests and following them up including acceptance tests
-          Installing and configuring Olympic modules and supporting users for the acceptance test
-          Overseeing the daily operations of the IT Operations department to ensure proper functionality
-          Participating in internal projects: analysing users’ needs, writing tests scenarios based on use cases, contributing to solution design where relevant, performing tests, installing and configuring deliveries in the production environment, supporting users for acceptance tests, providing users training when required, etc.
 

What we expect
-          A proven experience and strong knowledge of the Olympic banking system, covering both technical and business aspects.
-          Solid general understanding of core IT concepts
-          Good knowledge of AS400 / iSeries environment and its operations
-          Strong overall banking knowledge
-          At least basic knowledge of SQL
-          Good knowledge of Multi Message Engine (MME) is considered an asset
-          Strong analytical and organisational skills
-          High commitment to delivering quality outcomes within agreed timelines
-          Ability to work autonomously while demonstrating and fostering a great team spirit
-          A structured way of working and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
-          Fluency in English (both written and spoken), knowledge of any additional language (French, German, Swedish…) is a valued asset.
