Senior Engineer in Virtual Hybrid Services | SEB, Vilnius

About the role:
As a Senior Engineer in Virtual Hybrid Services, you will be part of a team responsible for operating, maintaining and developing SEB’s virtual application and desktop delivery platforms. Working across a technology landscape built primarily on Citrix solutions and evolving through the adoption of Citrix Cloud, Windows 365 and modern remote access capabilities, you will ensure stable, secure and reliable service delivery while contributing to technical improvements and modernization initiatives. You will maintain, troubleshoot and continuously improve virtual application and desktop environments, investigate and resolve complex technical issues, and support the development and implementation of new features, technical solutions and service enhancements. As part of our modernization journey, you will help drive Citrix Cloud adoption, Windows 365 integration, and the evolution of modern remote access and DaaS capabilities, while identifying opportunities for automation, scripting and improvements to our technical environment and ways of working. Working closely with engineers, architects, security specialists and technology partners across SEB, you will also develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures, helping shape the future of virtual workplace delivery at SEB.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

Solid hands-on experience with enterprise IT infrastructure and virtualization technologies, preferably including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops or comparable enterprise virtualization solutions.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory and related infrastructure technologies.

Experience troubleshooting and maintaining complex technical environments.

An understanding of infrastructure operations, change management and service delivery processes.

An interest in automation, scripting and continuous technical improvement.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge.

Good communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience with Citrix Cloud, Windows 365, Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, PowerShell would be an advantage.
