What you will be doing?
You will be part of Progress/OpenEdge Baltic team that consists of 6 engineers and experts.
Team is responsible for design, implementation and optimization of IT Technology platforms and services according to business requirements and internal regulations, providing technical guidance and knowledge to the organization, ensuring technical alignment with organizational standards and business goals.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementation of Progress/OpenEdge platform and services, ensuring their successful deployment and adherence with business targets
- Developing and implementing necessary strategies to ensure continuity, scalability, security, and reliability of maintained services
- Collaborating with stakeholders of provided services to understand their requirements and objectives
- Mentoring and coaching team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
- Oversee and monitor health and performance of deployed platforms and services, address issues proactively if needed
- Make recommendations for technology adoption and vendor selection, based on organizational standards and industry trends
- Develop and enforce necessary security measures, ensure that provided services comply with all relevant regulations
- Help to resolve technical issues, provide guidance and mentorship to IT developers and administrators and technical support to other organizational units
- Continuous research and evaluation of existing product developments and emerging technologies, making recommendations for improvements
- Keep up-to-date with certifications and trainings to stay current in the area
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- Significant professional experience in application administration area, preferably with complex applications in an enterprise environment
- Passionate for Progress/OpenEdge platform technologies
- Flexible and willing to take ownership
- Outgoing & positive team player
- Diligent, able to work in regulated environment
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and user support
- Excellent in English, oral and written
