What you will be doing
As a member of the Quant Sales Automation team, you will work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the innovation of our suite of automated solutions. The primary focus for the team is to develop and maintain cutting-edge FX infrastructure solutions for both corporate and institutional clients.
Your role as a Tech Quant Developer will involve driving tasks from analysis, through development and test primarily in Python and Java using cloud technology. Collaboration with the business side is a key aspect of our team's workflow, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and client needs.
Who we are looking for
To succeed in this role, you have an analytical mindset along with good communication skills. As a person we believe that you are passionate about development and eager to constantly learn. You are proactive and contribute with ideas and suggested improvements to our way of working. You take pride in delivering clean, efficient, maintainable, and tested code.
You are curious and energetic by nature, have an interest in the financial markets and thrive in client facing roles. It is also meriting if you have knowledge about foreign exchange or trading in general. You have a relevant academic degree combined with good mathematical skills.
· Relevant degree in computer science or equivalent
· Experience with Python and Java
· Experience in Linux is desirable
· Knowledge in Financial Mathematics is meriting
· Knowledge in Container platforms (OpenShift/Docker) and Cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform
· Knowledge in version control and CI/CD automation in github and/or gitlab
