About the role: 
 
As a Process Specialist for Background Screening, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization by ensuring that potential hires meet our high standards of integrity and compliance. You will be responsible for managing and assessing background checks, identifying potential concerns, and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure a thorough and risk-aware screening process. Your work will directly contribute to minimizing potential threats, safeguarding company reputation, and ensuring regulatory compliance. 

You will be responsible for:

    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to initiate and track the progress of background checks for candidates. 
    • Review and interpret the results of background checks, identifying any potential risks or areas that require further investigation. 
    • Ensure all background checks are conducted in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. 
    • Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders to explain the results and any necessary next steps. 
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to improve background screening processes. 
    • Contribute to build a strong background check process, process efficiency and have a strong end-to-end mindset 

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

    • Have an academic degree within a relevant field of study 
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information 
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy 
    • High integrity and work independently as well as in team 
    • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations 
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously 
    • Meritorious if you have previous experience in background screening, HR, or a related field
