About the role:
You’ll be joining a team that is focused on developing and maintaining critical customer-facing systems. Stability, security, and performance aren’t just buzzwords here - they’re our mantra. We dive deep into both ongoing improvements and delivering new functionality, always ensuring our systems can meet both present and future challenges, including the evolving regulatory landscape.
We’re looking for a Backend Developer who enjoys working in an Agile environment, improving automation, and supporting secure, high-performing Java-based systems. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced colleagues, contribute to system improvements, and grow your skills in modern development practices.
Join our Account Channels team and help us fine-tune our banking solutions.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot (preferably Spring Boot 3 and Spring Web MVC)
- Understanding of Kafka and Redis for real-time data streaming and caching
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
- Preparedness to participate in on-call rotations to swiftly resolve incidents and ensure minimal downtime
- A collaborative spirit, working with cross-functional teams
It would be advantageous if you also have:
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions, and Docker for deployment in OpenShift or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk and AppDynamics
- The ability to work independently, take initiative, and dive into requirements to create efficient solutions that run faster than a caffeine-fueled coder
- Experience frameworks like Spring WebFlux, with an API-first approach and OpenAPI Specification

€2,850 - €4,250 a month
The above indicated range is the monthly salary range for this position before tax deduction. The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
