SEB’s Investment Banking Internship program offers you the possibility of getting practical knowledge from the leading investment bank in the Nordics and could result in a full-time job offer. Corporate Finance
Corporate Finance, as part of SEB Investment Banking, is a market leader in advisory services for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions such as stock market listings and capital raisings. Our clients consist mainly of Nordic large corporates, financial sponsors and international companies with an interest in M&A and ECM in Northern Europe.
Corporate Finance Growth
Corporate Finance Growth is a full-service M&A, capital raising, and ECM team within SEB Investment Banking, advising private and public growth companies regarding strategic transactions. Our team supports the companies of tomorrow, as well as Nordic large corporates and international investors with an agenda to invest into the Northern European growth landscape.
About the job
We offer high-performing individuals a steep learning curve in an international work environment within finance. From day one, you will take an active role in live transactions as well as in the preparation of pitch material. You will support our deal teams throughout projects by performing tasks such as market analysis, company valuation and preparation of presentation materials. We view our interns as an integral part of our team and will do our utmost to offer you a rewarding experience in our challenging, yet supportive environment.
The internship periods are offered on a rolling basis throughout the year with each intake lasting 10 weeks, during which you work with Corporate Finance or Corporate Finance Growth.
Who are you?
We are interested in applications from driven individuals with a team-player attitude and a genuine interest in business and finance. To be successful in your internship with us, you need to have sharp analytical skills, be a fast learner as well as being dedicated and ambitious. You have a service-minded attitude, a proactive approach, attention to detail, high integrity, and take responsibility for your tasks.
Furthermore, you need to have completed at least two years of studies on an undergraduate level at the time of the internship and have strong communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
