Corporate Finance, a core function within SEB Investment Banking, is a market leader in advisory services related to Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions in the Nordics. We are now looking to fulfil two Analyst positions in the Corporate Finance team in Helsinki. About the role
We work together in tight project teams, where everyone’s input counts and seamless collaboration is vital. Therefore, in the role of an Analyst, your teamworking skills as well as your ability to perform high-quality analysis independently are essential. As a part of our team, you are responsible for providing financial and strategic advice of the highest standard in M&A and ECM transactions, advising leading Finnish and international corporations, private equity firms and other financial investors. The daily work varies and your tasks include, for example, different kinds of financial analyses, financial modelling, valuations and market analyses as well as preparing presentation materials for client meetings. You will get to work in very interesting projects with a wide range of clients and thus meet with skilled professionals from various industries. Working cross-border with our Nordic colleagues is also part of the daily life of our work.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have
• Ambition, diligence and eagerness to learn
• A suitable study background from a university, for example, from business or engineering. You are finishing your master’s degree soon or have graduated recently or up to 2 years ago
• A strong analytical mindset, a true team-player attitude, good communication skills and excellent command of both Finnish and English
• Gained relevant prior work experience relating to M&A, capital markets, private equity, strategy consulting or corporate strategy
