About the role:
In the vital role of QA Engineer at SEB, you will be central to ensuring the excellence and reliability of our product. Your expertise will be crucial in leading our quality assurance efforts, particularly in the realm of automated testing and script development. As a key player in our team, you will blend your knowledge of Java with cutting-edge testing tools like Appium and Browserstack, to create and implement comprehensive test strategies.
Your passion for quality will drive you to meticulously test and refine our mobile applications and backend services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality and user experience. In this role, you'll not only detect and document issues but also proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes. Your involvement in team meetings and planning sessions will be invaluable, as you'll bring a QA-focused perspective to discussions about new features and system enhancements.
As a QA Engineer at SEB, you are more than a tester; you are a guardian of software quality, an innovator in automated testing, and a crucial contributor to the overall success of our product development cycle.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
● Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Crucial for effectively identifying, diagnosing, and solving issues in software testing.
● Expertise in Java for Test Automation: Proficiency in Java to craft effective and efficient automated test scripts.
● Experience with Mobile App Testing Tools: Familiarity with tools like Appium and Browserstack for comprehensive mobile application testing.
● Understanding of QA Best Practices: Knowledge of the latest quality assurance methodologies and practices, particularly in automated testing.
● Effective Communication and Collaboration: Ability to work well within cross-functional teams, contributing to discussions and aligning QA efforts with overall project objectives.
● Experience in the QA Domain: 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, demonstrating a deep understanding of the QA lifecycle and its role in software development.
● Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and testing techniques in the rapidly evolving field of QA.
