As the NBSF team within the Customer Overview & Digital Enablers tribe, we drive the development and continuous evolution of the front platform and advisory solutions that empower seamless daily customer service and operational excellence.
 
 
What you will be doing:

As a Solution Architect in the NBSF team, you will play a key role in shaping and guiding the technical direction of our area. You will work closely with the Product Owner, developers, and various stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and future‑proof solutions.
 
You will also collaborate actively with the broader architect community, contributing to architectural standards, influencing target-state designs, and providing strategic input that shapes the bank’s overall technological direction.

Your main responsibilities will include:

    •  Translating business needs into well‑defined technical requirements and solution designs
    • Leading technical implementation and ensuring alignment with SEB architectural strategy
    • Evaluating functional and non-functional requirements and proposing the most suitable solution options
    • Participating in discussions on system integrations, scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
    • Contributing with hands‑on development when necessary to support delivery
    • Supporting and guiding developers by promoting best practices and ensuring high‑quality technical outcomes
    • Creating and maintaining clear and comprehensive architectural and technical documentation

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

    • Solid understanding of modern architecture principles, including modular design, domain‑driven thinking, and separation of concerns
    • Strong grasp of reactive programming with data streams and object‑oriented design
    • Solid understanding of microservices and API-driven architectures, including REST, event-driven patterns, authentication/authorization standards (OIDC, OAuth), and API lifecycle management
    • Expertise in enterprise back‑end development with Java and Spring/Spring Boot
    • Good knowledge in relational database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS
    • Experience with UI frameworks such as Angular
    • Broad front‑end competence in HTML, CSS (SASS/SCSS), Bootstrap, and responsive design principles
    • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (OpenShift, Jenkins)
    • Hands-on familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
    • Great communication skills and fluency in English. English is required as you will be working on solutions, developing products and services in the Baltics, and collaborating with Baltic teams

€3,900 - €5,800 a month
The final offer (before tax deduction) will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
