Team Inlån Dev is looking for an Assembler/COBOL developer with a strong technical drive to join our existing team based in Stockholm.
You will be part of a professional team on a great transformative journey. One of SEB’s largest initiatives is found within the Core Ledger area where we are building a completely new ledger system. The current system INLÅN, (even known as the Heart of the Bank) is a deposit system in SEK, containing all the banks’ customers’ deposit- accounts; both private and cooperative will slowly be phased out. The system is built by SEB and runs on Mainframe.
Meanwhile developing the new ledger, securing our current business to be run with the same quality and efficiency as it has been since 1970, is still our major focus.
The team is accountable for:
· Development and testing within the SEK deposit account ledger, INLÅN.
· Development and testing of common CS services within deposit application.
· Automation of tests
· LCM-activities
Cross-collaboration and interaction with other SEB teams with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery are the essence of our daily work.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
· Develop and testing of services for INLÅN on the KTO platform and IMS/DB2
· Development and enabling of SEB’s largest initiatives (New Cash Ledger)
· Share information via MQ/KAFKA
· Analysis and design work
· Collaborating with people in our team and cross-teams
Who we are looking for
We believe you are an outgoing and positive team player who has a flexible mindset and a willingness to drive larger initiatives. You like to find creative solutions to complex problems. Since we are an agile team, using Scrum and SAFE as frameworks it is an advantage if you have worked in similar setups before. An analytical and curious mindset and previous experience in design work are well needed to succeed in this role. As a person, you are communicative, driven, and collaborative. Sharing knowledge comes naturally to you.
Furthermore, to succeed we think you have:
· Good knowledge of Assembler
· Good knowledge of Cobol and Mainframe environments e.g JCL, DB2, MQ, and KAFKA
· Fluent in Swedish & English, both orally and written
· Proven track record of analytical/design work
