We are looking for a Data Engineer that has a genuine interest in process automation practices. You will be a part of FCP Process Automation team which has a goal to automate processes and data flows in scope of the Financial Crime Prevention area. As a Data Engineer you will be cooperating with specialists from the team (Workflow Developers, Java Developer) to create data pipelines for automated processes.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing and maintaining data pipelines needed for the automated processes
- Collaborating with developers from the team and with IT architects on defining the process implementation design
- Providing work estimates and timely updates on solution development progress.
- Helping business to understand technical capabilities, suggesting best possible solutions and explaining limitations
- Defining way of working practices, suggesting and implementing improvements
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Python, Scala, or Java programming language
- Experience with Spark or PySpark
- Experience with CI/CD and relevant tools like Github Actions
- Experience in business process analysis and automation or similar field is considered as an advantage
- Experience with cloud services (GCP) and infrastructure as a code (Terraform) is considered an advantage.
- Experience with working in Scrum
- Analytical mindset and ability to solve complex technical problems

- Fluent English
