We are looking for a dedicated Data Steward to play a key role in advancing our data journey towards a sustainable reporting solution, with the opportunity to grow into a Data Owner role.
About the role:
Data Management is a function within Corporate & Investment Banking, Regulatory Reporting Office, that consists of a team of Data Owners and Data Stewards, located in Stockholm.
As a Data Steward, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and executing data management processes within a new reporting solution built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams both within and outside the Markets Regulatory Reporting Tribe to enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
Main responsibilities:
· Support the Data Owner in implementing Data Management responsibilities
· Collect and prioritize data requirements for the Regulatory Trade Reporting Data Area
· Serve as a liaison between data producers and the Regulatory Trade Reporting Data Area to ensure alignment on data needs
· Perform data modeling and define data-related requirements
· Ensure data is accessible, usable, and of high quality for business users
· Define, implement, and manage data quality controls
· Ensure adherence to data policies and standards, driving continuous improvement
· Identify synergies across use cases to enable scalable data product development
· Facilitate the creation and maintenance of metadata in the Enterprise Data Catalogue for the Data Area
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
· Several years of experiences in the financial industry and deep understanding of the financial capital market products and regulations such as MiFID or Derivatives reporting as well as the experience in data management
· Strong understanding of data management frameworks, best practices, and methodologies
· Previous experience working within a Data or IT function as a Data Steward/Data Analyst or similar type of role
· Practical experience with SQL, SPARX Enterprise Architect, or Collibra
· Ability to perform data analysis tasks and assist the agile team in development of data flows
· Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
· Ability to drive cross-functional efforts to deliver data solutions that meet regulatory and business needs
· Experience with agile framework is an advantage
· A team player mindset, can communicate on all levels and are able to take different perspectives into consideration
