About The Role:
We are looking for a talented senior Analyst/Quality Assurer to join our “Calypso Maintenance and QA” team. Calypso system is a large-scale software product for the capital markets supporting trading, risk management, and processing of various financial products. The team you will work in is responsible for the maintenance, user support and development of the system. Our stakeholders and end users are located in Riga, Stockholm, and other international SEB sites.
You will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and improving complex IT solutions that deliver continuous value to our customers, internal users, and financial/regulatory authorities. You’ll be part of a collaborative Agile SCRUM team, working closely with stakeholders and other IT professionals to deliver high-quality results that meet business needs.

You Will Be Responsible For:
- Developing and maintaining high-quality IT solutions, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, acceptance criteria and testing.
- Driving technology business plan activities and investigating new technologies for improvement opportunities in technical solutions and processes, while applying secure development principles and following internal IT policies and guidelines.
- Actively participating in planning and follow-up to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries from the team.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand customer needs/expectations and take responsibility for value deliveries across SEB.
- Proactively sharing knowledge, contributing to team development and growth, and representing the team in various forums/tribes/departments, acting as a go-to person for advice and guidance.
- Taking responsibility for your own competence development.
To Thrive in This Role, We Believe You Have:
- Technically curious mind that is motivated by issue resolution.
- Proven experience in software development/support and enterprise level system design with complex workflows.
- Experience with analysis of static code, system logs and database structure.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks, and experience with different testing types (unit, system, integration, end-to-end, regression, etc).
- Basic proficiency in JAVA and Oracle SQL (more advanced expertise is an advantage).
- Examples of proactive improvements, process optimizations, and technical leadership, including CI/CD practices and tools.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Knowledge of Agile principles, including practical experience with Agile ways of working.
- Experience in working with JIRA or similar development management tools.
- Knowledge of financial and capital markets products will be considered as an advantage.
- Knowledge of Calypso system, especially Back Office, will be considered as an advantage.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written).

€2,750 - €4,000 a month
Monthly salary range indicated for this position is before tax deduction. The offer for final candidate* will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
