Group Risk Riga is part of the SEB Group Risk. Our department is responsible for a wide scope of risk related processes for different entities within the SEB Group. The main responsibility for Group Risk is to identify, measure, monitor and analyze SEB’s risks.

About the role:
As a member of the Counterparty Risk Reporting Team, your role will be related with data validation, analysis and visualization. You will be monitoring and communicating counterparty and credit risk exposure changes and trends. As you grow in the team, you will take on additional projects for bank-wide or group risk initiatives. The role requires a combination of quantitative and qualitative skill sets.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

    • University degree or last year student in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or similar;
    • Interest in risk management and financial instruments;
    • Analytical, curios and self-driven person who is ready to take on a challenge;
    • Strong analytical and communication skills;
    • Able to work with large amounts of numerical data;
    • Great communication skills and fluency in English. Work execution is related to foreign countries.
    • Knowledge of financial instruments would be considered an advantage;
    • Experience working with databases, SQL or any programming language would be considered an advantage.

€1,500 - €2,300 a month
Monthly salary range indicated for this position is before tax deduction. The offer for final candidate* will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
