Are you a dedicated team player with strong credit competences from banking, mainly within the private marked? We are looking for you as our new Credit Officer to strengthen our credit risk culture within the division Private Wealth Management & Family Office (PWM&FO) in SEB Norway.
PWM&FO in Norway is a division servicing privately owned capital towards the wealthiest families in Norway. We offer institutional like deliveries and structured financing solutions based on individual needs in close cooperation with a variety of product specialists within the bank. Our client segments in Norway consist of Industrial- and Financially focused Family Offices, Professional Investors, Corporate Foundations and Family Funds. We are responsible for the overall risk- and profitability of the division.
What you will be doing
As a Credit Officer in Norway, you will be part of Financing Solutions (FS) a global team within the PWM&FO division responsible for all credit relevant products and solutions. In your role, you make sure that law and order within the credit portfolio is assured and that credit quality is kept on good standards and in line with regulations and internal policies.

Your main responsibilities:
• Overall credit competence with education and development of the Client Account Management (CAM) team which is among others responsible for handling the credit process within the PWM&FO division in Norway.
• Credit quality control with assurance of efficient credit applications processes.
• Keep relevant working instructions up to date in line with local and international regulatory banking requirements.  
• Main point of contact for stakeholders within the bank (i.e. legal, risk, compliance) related to regulatory aspects.
• Take credit decisions within assigned authorities and decisions as member of relevant credit committees.
• Make sure that the authorization of financial advisor for credit is implemented and followed for relevant employees within the bank.
Who we are looking for

environment with challenging goals. You are committed to contribute to the organization through
your engagement, professionality, and your eagerness to develop and learn. You have excellent
interpersonal skills and you communicate fluently in a Scandinavian language and English. You have
a University degree within finance, business administration or similar. You have a relevant
working experience of at least 10 years within the private- and or commercial credit business area
and you are familiar with international and domestic banking laws and regulations.
