Our scope includes areas like exploring new financial ecosystems, technical platforms, and ways to collect and make use of customer data. Our team is now looking for a third-party data management specialist to work with us. Does that sound like a fit for you?

What you will be doing
Do you want to work closely with the solutions we create with our external partners? Do you want to be part of the review of their data flow? Are you interested in finding out how third-party data providers handle the data they gather from customers? Do you enjoy evaluating data structures and examining data flows? Are you enthusiastic to join new initiatives? Then this might be the right challenge for you!

You will be part of the Data Hub team at Corporate Ecosystems, Partnerships, and Data within Exploratory Banking & Strategic Partnership; a team that is assisting the various Exploratory initiatives in setting the governance of customers’ data and ensuring the proper management of it. You will be collaborating closely with our Data Management Office as well as business stakeholders and subject-matter experts at C&PC and other parts of the bank. Your role in overseeing the management of our customers’ data via third-party data providers will be very important for our success.

As a member of the team, you will report to the Manager of the Corporate Ecosystems, Partnerships, and Data team in the Exploratory Banking & Strategic Partnerships unit. The unit consists of around 25 highly professionals with a unique drive, deep experience, and an explorative mindset. The unit is heavily involved in cross-collaboration and interaction with other SEB teams, as well as external partners to develop both corporate and private ecosystems.

As a third-party data management specialist supported by the required experts your key responsibilities involve:

    • Overseeing third-party data handling, including processing, outsourcing, and retention policies.
    • Evaluating API offerings, data architectures, and data flows from provider to consumer for a fully controlled data lifecycle management.
    • Analyzing data processing to ensure clarity on user data usage and retention throughout its journey.
    • Participating in the reviewing of annual agreements for third-party data.
    • Strategizing the integration of new external datasets, ensuring their alignment with existing data areas and consent management policies.
    • Being the driver of data management aspects in your assigned initiatives.
    • Supporting in the governance of external customer-owned data.

Who we are looking for:

    • You have proven expertise in data management, ideally with an emphasis on external data handling, API integration, and data lifecycle management.
    • You have strong analytical skills and have a deep understanding of data compliance, privacy, and legal issues
    • You have good knowledge of working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform
    • You have the capacity to drive and deliver according to a strategic plan
    • You have a strong track record of project and stakeholder management
    • You have a deep understanding of how IT applies technology to make data available and how data is used by the business
    • You have strong communication and networking skills and have the capacity to perform as a true team player in a cross-organizational context that involves business and IT
    • You are curious about exploring the cutting-edge technologies such as Generative AI
    • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
