About the role:

The Compensation & Benefits function is responsible for the entire value chain from strategy to implementation of remuneration in the SEB Group. You will be part of the Compensation Team based Vilnius. The team is part of the Remuneration and Talent Acquisition department, responsible for delivering key HR processes across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and the Baltics. Our work includes managing compensation structures and reviews, salary benchmarking, employee benefits and lifecycle processes such as onboarding, internal transfers, and exits.

We are now looking for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and improving compensation and benefits processes, with a primary focus on Lithuania region, while also driving compensation related initiatives across the Baltic countries (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia), together with Compensation & Benefits specialists across the Baltic countries as well as Sweden.

As a Compensation and Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible to:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compensation and benefits processes in line with company strategy and local regulations, such as working job evaluation and equal pay.
  • Analyze internal and external compensation data to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on compensation-related matters in Lithuania and provide advice to managers and HR colleagues.
  • Coordinate and align compensation topics across the Baltic countries to ensure consistency, compliance, and competitiveness.
  • Participate in Group initiatives and projects related to the implementation of pay processes and policies
  • Monitor local benefits legislation and trends in the Baltics and propose relevant updates or improvements.
  • Support the procurement and management of local and regional benefit providers and ensure service-level quality.
  • Ensure clear and timely communication of compensation and benefits policies to employees and stakeholders.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in Compensation process area 
  • Experience in working with job evaluation/job architecture in an international setting
  • Ability to make sound judgements and manage stakeholders on different levels across different parts of the organisation
  • Strong and proven quantitative and analytical skills 
  • Good communication, presentation and facilitating skills
  • Understanding of taxation and local market practices
  • Ability to coordinate work and collaborate in an agile way 
  • Are Fluent in English and local language

€3,350 - €5,050 a month
The above indicated monthly salary range for this position is before tax deduction. The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
