P&C’s mission is to support our colleagues through their full employee lifecycle. Our team includes People & Culture Partners, People Operations Managers, our COO and our Events Team. We believe that trust, appreciation, sustainability, and constant development will make us – together – be a company who is good for our people and the planet. This role will partner with many stakeholders across the company, leadership, to create a more informed and effective organization by implementing a communications strategy that engages, inspires, and unites our teams. By crafting clear, bold yet humble messages, this role will be a key contributor to our collective success. This position is 100% remote, but we are prioritizing candidates based in the UK and Germany.

Field of Activity

    • Develop, implement and execute communication plans - collaborate and consult with the Savings United team to develop and execute communication plans and messaging that engages, inspires, and unites our global teams.   
    • Provide strategic guidance - act as a trusted partner, offering strategic guidance and support to our teams in crafting compelling messaging that drive employee engagement, understanding, and alignment with company goals. 
    • Optimize internal communication channels - optimize communication methods and channels to find ways to streamline communication for ease of understanding and historical documentation. Find tools and channels that will strengthen our employee engagement, further our company strategy, and foster a sense of connection. 
    • Generate engagement and build community - engage with our Savings United community to understand needs, pain points, and mindsets. Use your skills as a communication specialist to craft narratives and cast visions that bring unity and build community, inspiring all of us to partner together to meet business goals - especially through times of change and transformation. 
    • Support company events and activities - partner with leads and events team to provide communications support for various activities like team events, coworking events, pop-up offices, all-hands meetings, and more. Partner with key stakeholders during Black Friday season to build and support an engaging and informative communication plan during our busiest week(s) of the year. 
    • Engage in regular feedback - proactively engage in feedback with teams to better understand the strategies that are working or what needs to be improved. 
    • Support opportunities for cross-collaboration - engage in active listening, and view communication as a tool to increase cross-collaboration. Maintain a deep understanding of key business OKRs and strategic vision in order to create more effective communications plans with high impact.
    • Uplevel our external presence - work with our external vendors to improve our social media presence in a way that shows authentically who we are (via Linked-in, Blogs, and other forms of PR). 
    • Assist in the development of project-specific tools related to communication, such as our website, social media, newsletters, databases, and more.

    • You work confidently with many stakeholders, including C-level leaders and teammates from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures.  
    • You have at least 3 years of experience working with communications strategy in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with many stakeholders.
    • You are familiar with communicating to audiences from a wide variety of backgrounds and perspectives, especially in a global setting. 
    • You are able to travel 2-4 times/year, depending on the needs of your team.
    • You are familiar with working in an international, remote working environment with English as a corporate language.
