IRAP is a global legal aid and advocacy organization, working to create a world where refugees and all people seeking safety are empowered to claim their right to freedom of movement and a path to lasting refuge. IRAP currently operates out of offices in the USA, Germany, Jordan, and Lebanon.
We are looking for an Enterprise Systems Product Manager based in the U.S. to join IRAP’s Technology team to support our staff, interns, volunteers and affiliates around the globe, who make IRAP’s vision a reality.
The Enterprise Systems Product Manager (ESPM) is responsible for implementing technology systems that solve complex business problems, e.g., CRM, HRM,
ERP. This position translates IRAP business needs to technology specifications to implement enterprise systems like Salesforce over a multi-year roadmap, including solutioning, change management, communications, planning, training, vendor selection, etc.
The Enterprise Systems Product Manager will work closely with other Tech team members to support other departments (such as Development and Communications) and own inter-departmental projects.
The Enterprise Systems Product Manager (ESPM) will have supervisory responsibility and will report to the Assistant Director of Technology.
Responsibilities
- Gathering business requirements with input from multiple departments at IRAP.
- Evaluating technology solutions & vendors, recommending process and technology innovations to solve for those business requirements.
- Developing proposals for innovation including gap, cost & ROI analysis, prototyping, stakeholder buy-in, project planning, developing roadmaps.
- Supporting teams in the customization and maintenance of Marketing Cloud and NPSP in coordination with the existing IRAP-internal Salesforce team to ensure smooth functionality in a shared Salesforce instance.
- Translating business requirements to technology specifications for a team of external contractors to execute on.
- Implementing software with clear methodology of best practices in compliance with regulatory standards including requirements gathering, user story writing, work prioritization, developing solutions with the team, user acceptance testing, QA & coordinated release management.
- Identifying stakeholders and updating them on ongoing & future work on a regular basis.
- Managing a prioritized product backlog of business needs & resulting work on an ongoing basis.
- Executing on change management including training, release notes, enabling business users to self-serve their data hygiene and reporting needs.
- Conducting knowledge transfer and hand-off to enable IRAP’s IT Support team to handle ongoing staff support tickets.
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline.
- Salesforce Administrator certification required, Advanced Administrator or Service Cloud
- certification preferred
- Experience
- 5+ years implementing enterprise business technology systems or solutions e.g. Salesforce, Zendesk, Workday, Oracle NetSuite, SAP.
- Experience with Salesforce implementations including architecture, design, and rollout.
- Experience administering Salesforce NPSP required
- Project Management experience, including managing all aspects of production release cycles, product planning and change management.
- Preferred experience with Agile framework and tools.
- Preferred experience with analytics platforms like Salesforce Tableau, Microsoft Power BI.
- Previous non-profit experience is a plus.

- Possess a security conscious mindset and ability to use discretion and apply best practices and appropriate safeguards when handling confidential data and information systems.
- -Fluency in business English, both written and verbal, required. Additional languages are a plus.
Job-related Requirements
- The position may be remote in the U.S., or based in our NYC or D.C. office.
- flexibility with the working hours (40 hours/week); the role will need to be able to work during the hours of 9am - noon Eastern time to accommodate meetings with overseas staff.
- This position requires annual travel to certain IRAP locations, which may include: Berlin, Amman, and the U.S. offices between 1-3 weeks per year (IRAP pays for the travel, lodging, per diem).
- This position requires office availability in accordance with IRAP Hybrid work policy.

$99,080 - $114,861 a year
Compensation is based on experience, education, and internal equity.
