The Senior Accountant – Treasury is responsible for managing daily cash operations, maintaining banking relationships, and ensuring accurate recording of cash transactions in the general ledger. This role plays a critical part in cash flow forecasting, managing the line of credit, and supporting monthly close activities.
Essential Functions
- Prepare daily cash reports and cash flow projections.
- Maintain and manage banking relationships.
- Ensure accurate recording of all cash receipts and direct payments (wire transfers, ACH debits).
- Post cash receipts, AR adjustments, customer refunds, and internal cash transfers.
- Monitor and manage borrowing and repayment activity on the company’s line of credit.
- Assist with monthly close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate treasury operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This position will not have direct reports.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Strong understanding of cash management, treasury operations, and general ledger accounting.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a general office environment where typical levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Travel is not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on treasury or cash management.
- Experience with banking systems and cash forecasting tools preferred.

Required Education and Experience
$60,000 - $68,000 a year
