1st Shift IHM Welder

QubicaAMF Worldwide LLC is looking for a safety-conscious welder to weld various production products used in the manufacturing of bowling equipment, such as Pin-spotters, Lane Cleaning Machines, Ball Returns, Furniture bases, and String Machines.
 
  • Weld various production products.
  • Maintain Company Quality Standards.
  • Assist in the construction and repair of jigs and fixtures.
  • Learn and operate various fabrication equipment.
  • Follows and maintains knowledge of safety protocol.
  • Consults blueprints to execute jobs and tasks to specification.

Ability to read drawings of 3-dimensional parts and to understand simple mathematical equations.

  • A high school degree or equivalent.
  • Use to handling large parts on your own.
  • Must have MIG and/or TIG welding experience.
  • Knowledge of welding methods for various types of metal.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints.
  • Skill in using and caring for welding tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Must be a Team Player.
 
 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Requires a high school diploma.
  • Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to lift overhead and handle large parts.
  • Must be able to work the hours of 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, and overtime when required.
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT
 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a warehouse environment with elevated noise, dust, and activity.  This is a non-temperature-controlled warehouse where temperatures can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. There is frequent exposure to moving parts.
 

TRAVEL REQUIRED:

  • No travel is required.

 

 
 
$20 - $25 biweekly
 
 
HOURS: 
6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, and overtime when required.
 
PAY:
20-25 an hour, Paid Bi-weekly.
