We are seeking an experienced ERP Specialist/Business Analyst to support and enhance our ERP environment, with primary responsibility for JD Edwards World on AS/400. This role partners with Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions, support users, and drive process improvement. Experience with modern ERPs (e.g., Oracle Fusion, NetSuite) is a plus.

The ERP Specialist helps evolve ERP capabilities and business processes across manufacturing and supply chain operations in support of a global organization.

Essential Job Functions

 

Business Analysis & Functional Support

  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, and Warehousing to understand needs and improve processes.
  • Gather and document business/technical requirements for enhancements, integrations, and operational improvements.
  • Perform gap and workflow analysis (current state vs. future state) and recommend solutions.
  • Translate requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
  • Support and lead a specific ERP project.

ERP Systems Support

  • Provide day-to-day functional support for JD Edwards World to ensure stability, usability, and adoption.
  • Support related platforms and integrations; contribute to optimization and roadmap initiatives.
  • Configure, test, and validate system changes and releases.
  • Support month-end, year-end, and audit activities as needed.

Technical Collaboration

  • Collaborate with developers and system administrators to design, implement, test, and deploy changes.
  • Review and validate technical designs against business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and support solutions in a JD Edwards World environment, including RPG, where applicable.

Testing, Documentation & Training

  • Create and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and user guides.
  • Support SIT/UAT and post-implementation validation.
  • Train users and serve as a point of contact for ERP questions and improvements. 

Travel Required

  • Travel is required.
  • Occasional travel, both domestically and abroad, is required to support projects and the global organization.

Required Education/Qualifications 

  • Strong business analysis skills (requirements, process mapping, gap analysis) in manufacturing/supply chain domains.
  • Hands-on experience supporting ERP systems; JD Edwards World and AS/400 preferred.
  • Ability to partner with technical teams; familiarity with integrations, testing (SIT/UAT), and release management.
  • Clear communicator with strong ownership, prioritization, and change/improvement mindset.
  • Nice to have: exposure to ERP modernization/re-platforming; Oracle Fusion/NetSuite; Vertex tax solutions.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Work Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a general office environment where typical levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds

 

 

 

 

 

$80,000 - $90,000 a year
 
Schedule: 
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
