The Aftermarket product management team is responsible for managing the product lifecycle and the P&L for a portfolio of bowling center products, which includes bowling balls, rental shoes, bowling pins, front end and back-end parts, lane care chemicals, and extended warranty programs. This team also manages the e-commerce (eSHOP) platform for all Aftermarket items.
The Product Integrity Manager, Aftermarket, plays a key role on this team and is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a business, marketing or engineer/technical background that is interested in moving their career in the direction of product management, quality control, and operational integrity
Essential Functions
- Pricing & Reporting
- · Manage global pricing updates for all Aftermarket products. Ensure pricing updates are completed on time and with accuracy.
- · Work with Senior Product Manager to ensure margin targets are achieved and maintained.
- · Manage global product pricing requests for non-published items. Establish pricing and inputting in QAMF ERP system, as needed
- · Ensure new products are set up with the right financial SRP tracking codes.
- · Develop reports (pulling from the ERP and CRM systems) as needed to inform and support product management and marketing decisions.
- Operations and Business Integrity
- · Maintain and implement (back office) parts activation; obsolescence; cross-referencing; and use until deletion statuses.
- · Collaborate with e-commerce specialist to ensure parts representations is accurate and updated within eSHOP.
- · Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure correct product configurations and assemblies are up to date including technical drawings.
- · Own the engineering change request (ECR) process with the engineering team.
- · Work directly with the Repair/Exchange Lab to ensure capabilities are recorded and updated to warranty and product teams.
- Product Management
- Lead cross-departmental coordination activities to ensure Aftermarket (parts) product changes, enhancements, and new introductions are implemented and communicated properly across the organization.
- Proactively monitor warranty and product quality, engage and lead stakeholders as needed to ensure quality issues that may arise get addressed.
- Ensure communication and training related to new products and/or features is conducted to stakeholders such as order management, technical support, account services, and sales teams worldwide
- Develop new product concepts and existing product enhancements with R/D team.
- Provide Senior Product Manager with extended warranty recommendations as appropriate.
- Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Competencies/Qualifications
- Technical aptitude, detail-oriented, analytical
- Demonstrated knowledge to perform proficient data analysis functions with Microsoft Excel (i.e., creating and using pivot tales, macros, etc.)
- Experience using CRM systems to analyze sales opportunity data
- Willing to learn new software tools as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working alone, as well as in collaboration with colleagues and third parties.
- Comfortable holding professional conversations with Engineers, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality Control, and product users.
- Required education and experience
- 5-7 years of professional work experience in an analytical or engineering/technical discipline
- Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, or related analytical discipline is a plus but is not required.
- Work experience with a company that develops and manufactures physical products is a plus but not required.
- Bowling or mixed entertainment industry experience is a plus.
$70,000 - $85,000 a year
