We are looking for an Advanced Embedded Test Software Engineer to design and enhance the control system for our next-generation quantum computers at our Broomfield, CO location. For this role, we are seeking software or electrical engineer with expertise in embedded software development, automated test software, and lab experience. Experience with real time operating systems and software deployment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop software for automated testing of FPGA based Quantum computer control hardware & software.
    • Create software tools and infrastructure to develop, deploy & manage the hardware that controls our systems.
    • Develop requirement based test plans and automated test to validate these requirements in the lab.
    • Provide technical expertise to help shape the test & deployment of commercial quantum computers.
    • Work in an R&D and rapid prototyping environment.

YOU MUST HAVE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree Minimum
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the development or test of software.
    • Minimum 1+ years embedded software.
    • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Citizen, permanent resident or green card holder

WE VALUE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in software or electrical engineering
    • 7+ years’ experience in an engineering or R&D environment.
    • Ability & interest to learn about new hardware & software tools.
    • Enthusiastic problem solver!
    • Background in linux, networking, programming/scripting languages.
    • Familiarity with typical lab equipment, O-scope, DMM, serial ports, network switches, etc.
    • Strong communication skills and “right size” design documentation.
    • Background writing software for FPGAs especially using Xilinx. Yocto linux busy box, & knowledge of Vitis SDK.
    • Experience deploying & maintaining embedded systems in the field.
    • C/C++, Python, Verilog/VHDL, System admin background.

Compensation & Benefits:
Range posted is inclusive of bonus target when applicable
