We are seeking a Director of Commercial Operations in our Broomfield, CO Location.

The Director of Commercial Operations is responsible for leadership and operational oversight for the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).  You will have specific responsibility for developing processes for market modelling, forecasting and development of long-range revenue plans, along with owning the creation of executive and board collateral, leading cross functional alignment to commercial goals and managing commercial operations. 
 
In this strategic and operational role, you will be pivotal in shaping the future of our company by overseeing all commercial office operations for the CCO.

Key Responsiblities:

    • Financial Planning, Modelling & Strategy Development
    • Own Long-Range Planning (LRP) modelling and forecasting processes for the Quantinuum product lines, in collaboration with Finance and Product teams, determining Total Addressable Market (TAM), Serviceable Addressable Marketing (SAM) and Service Obtainable Market (SOM)
    • Carry out in-depth market analysis and intelligence, into market trends, competitive dynamics and emerging opportunities to identify new market segments, customer needs and product opportunities and use this insight to inform strategic decision making.
    • Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support executive and board-level decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data and performance metrics to inform strategic priorities, resource allocation, and capital allocation decisions.

    • Executive & Board Collateral:
    • Prepare executive briefings, presentations, and talking points for executive leadership team members to use in client meetings, keynote conferences, investor presentations, and other high-profile engagements. Provide concise and impactful summaries of key information, insights, and recommendations to facilitate decision-making and drive alignment among executive stakeholders.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for the board of directors, including quarterly board meetings, committee meetings, and ad-hoc briefings. Compile relevant financial, operational, and strategic data, analysis, and updates to inform board discussions and decision-making. Ensure accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of board materials, adhering to established governance protocols and regulatory requirements.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Manage risks and compliance, in conjunction with the legal department, with relevant laws regulations, and industry standards governing commercial activities, including export controls, intellectual property rights, and data privacy. 
    • Ensure alignment of commercial strategies and objectives across the organization, serving as the key liaison between commercial team and other functional leadership.

    • Operations:
    • Implement and manage operating routines that facilitate prioritization, decision-making, autonomy, leadership alignment, and team engagement. Set the agenda, document decisions, communicate outcomes and ensure the follow through of action items.
    • Develop and manage outcomes and metric tracking/reporting across the commercial office on key strategic organizational initiatives (KPIs/OKRs/budgets), performance gaps, and defining mitigation plans.

    • Exceptional program management skills with a track record of successfully leading complex initiatives.
    • Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
    • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

YOU MUST HAVE:

    • Minimum High School Diploma/GED Required.
    • Minimum 10+ years of commercial experience, with a background in commercial operations and/or commercial business planning.

$145,000 - $195,000 a year
Compensation & Benefits
Range posted is inclusive of bonus target when applicable
