We are seeking a Lab Physicist for our Broomfield, CO location.
 
All applicants for placement in safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with a team of research scientists and engineers to develop, design, and characterize quantum computing related hardware
    • Characterize and analyze performance of components and subsystems and work with scientific and engineering teams to plan hardware performance improvements
    • Provide technical support to customers and support teams on sophisticated technical problems
    • Independently operate and troubleshoot issues

YOU MUST HAVE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree minimum
    • Minimum 1-year hands-on laboratory experience (degree inclusive), maintaining, troubleshooting and operating electronic systems, complex optical systems or vacuum/cryogenic systems
    • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person. defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status

WE VALUE:

    • Master’s degree in physics or relevant engineering field such as Optical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Software
    • 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in industry
    • Ability to analyze large sets of data to identify correlations and trends on performance
    • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Willingness to expand knowledge, learn new skills and push the boundary of what’s possible
    • Able to think critically, solve problems, and be a strong team player with intelligent risk-taking skills
    • Strong interpersonal and team skill
    • Strong computer skills including ability to program in Python
    • Experience in performing system audits to ensure intended system functionality, operation and performance requirements are achieved
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
$95,000 - $119,000 a year
Compensation & Benefits:
Range posted is inclusive of bonus target when applicable
Estimated Salary Wage: $95,000 - $119,000 Annually
