Lead-Physical Security Operations - 753
We are seeking a Lead – Physical Security Operations in our Broomfield, CO location to oversee the operational coordination and continued development of our global physical security program. All employees should work at their assigned location; however, this role may offer the opportunity to work remotely up to 2 days per week, with approval.
This role ensures that crisis response, travel risk, site-level security inputs, third-party considerations, and intelligence updates are integrated into a structured and actionable operational framework. You will work closely with the Principal Security Specialist – Investigations (who leads intelligence and security crisis management) and the Senior Security Professional – Risk Mitigation (who manages executive protection and travel risk programs) to maintain a coordinated, enterprise-wide response capability.
In addition to managing active incidents, this role strengthens the operational foundation of the program — refining escalation processes, response workflows, resilience planning, and third-party integration. The position ensures that monitoring outputs, site findings, workforce distribution, and business priorities are aligned and translated into clear operational action across the enterprise.
You will provide the operational leadership necessary to maintain continuity, clarity, and disciplined execution during high-impact events, while continuously improving how our physical security program performs at scale.
This position requires practical operational leadership, strong cross-functional coordination, and the ability to manage complex security situations calmly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Physical Security Operations & Crisis Coordination:
- Serve as operational lead during crisis events.
- Activate and coordinate Crisis Management Team workflows.
- Maintain real-time situational awareness and incident documentation.
- Ensure clear escalation, communication, and accountability during global events.
- Track response timelines and operational performance metrics.
Physical Security Operations Development:
- Evaluate and implement a GSOC model for 24/7 global response. This would likely be an outsourced model but would require operational set-up, to include processes, SLAs, management, etc.
- Develop practical plans to scale security operations as the company grows.
Monitoring & Program Integration:
- Integrate travel, executive, event, and monitoring outputs into enterprise escalation pathways.
- Maintain centralized reporting and operational dashboards.
- Refine response thresholds and documentation standards.
- Ensure site-level findings are incorporated into broader security posture.
Global Workforce & Remote Risk Coordination:
- Develop country and region-specific response considerations based on employee distribution.
- Maintain visibility into distributed employee exposure during global events.
- Coordinate response efforts affecting travelers and remote personnel.
- Support employee accountability processes during regional disruptions.
Business Continuity & Operational Resilience:
- Support alignment between physical security and business continuity planning.
- Ensure continuity of security operations during extended disruptions.
- Identify operational gaps or single points of failure.
- Conduct periodic stress-testing of response processes.
- Track key resilience metrics such as activation time and accountability rates.
Supply Chain & Third-Party Security Coordination:
- Partner with Operations and Procurement to integrate physical security considerations into third-party risk processes.
- Implement security review processes for critical vendors.
- Coordinate response protocols involving third-party facilities.
- Monitor operational risk exposure related to external partners.
Additional Duties May Include:
- Supporting investigations as needed.
- Participating in new site physical security planning efforts.
- Supporting site assessments and security coverage
- Assisting with high-risk employee situations.
- Travel: Up to 25%.
You Must Have:
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in physical security operations, crisis response, or enterprise security leadership.
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status.
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.

Compensation & Benefits:
Incentive Eligible – Range posted is inclusive of bonus target when applicable
The pay range for this role is $132,000 – $165,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate’s skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
