We are seeking a Health Safety and Environment Manager in our Broomfield, CO Location. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Safety and Environment Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive HSE programs and initiatives, as well as leading a team to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and the environment is being met. The role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance in the health, safety, and environmental fields.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term HSE strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local, state, federal and global regulations related to health, safety, and environmental practices, ensuring compliance across all operations.
    • Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to minimize workplace accidents, injuries, and environmental impact.
    • Training and Education: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs to educate employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, or environmental spills, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and protocols to effectively address workplace emergencies, such as natural disasters or hazardous material spills.
    • Supplier and Contractor Management: Evaluate the health, safety, and environmental practices of suppliers and contractors, ensuring alignment with company standards.
    • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives, preparing regular reports for management review.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HSE processes, procedures, and technologies, driving innovation and efficiency.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, to promote a culture of safety, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
    • Team management: manage directly and indirectly safety team members and EHS specialists globally.
    • Ability to travel up to 25%

YOU MUST HAVE:

    • Bachelors Degree
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Health Safety and Environment Manager role
    • Applicants for employment for this position must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Quantinuum. (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status) 

WE VALUE:

    • Masters degree in occupational health and safety, environmental Science, engineering, or a related field.
    • Professional certification in health and safety (e.g., CSP, CIH, CMIOSH) and/or environmental management (e.g., CEM, CEnv)
    • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and ISO requirements.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HSE programs and initiatives.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others to prioritize safety and environmental responsibility.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive informed decision-making.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
$132,000 - $155,000 a year
Compensation & Benefits:
Range posted is inclusive of bonus target when applicable.
