We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in our Broomfield, CO location.  

Key Responsibilities:

    • This role works between the scientists and engineers
    • Support Value Stream Mapping and Process Design creation for the quantum computer hardware
    • Assist in developing processes that supports bill-of-material creation, single source of truth, change management for the quantum computer
    • Assist in integrating a new product lifecycle management system
    • Review the quantum computer for design for cost, test and manufacturability opportunities
    • Research and evaluate new and existing processes, operations, and support systems for adaptation and/or improvements needed to manufacture the quantum computer

YOU MUST HAVE:

    • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree
    • Graduating after December 2024
    • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. person (defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status)

WE VALUE:

    • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree  
    • Design for Test, Design for Cost, Design for Manufacturability experience strongly preferred
    • Ability to work in cross-functional / matrix reporting structure
    • Experience in system engineering, physics, lasers & optics, electrical engineering, or closely allied fields 
    • Experience with product lifecycle management software or enterprise resource planning software 
    • Individuals who are results-oriented and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done despite competing priorities 
    • Good interpersonal skills, verbal and written 
$25 - $31 an hour
