As part of the development of an online multiplayer project, and for its next very ambitious productions and publications, QUANTIC DREAM is increasing its R&D department.   Under the responsibility of the Lead Project Programmer and within a human-sized team mobilized by challenges, collaboration and team spirit, you will contribute to the evolution of the architecture of the game's network engine within the Gameplay team.   
  
As a Network Gameplay Programmer, you will ensure the integration as well as the support of the game's replication layer and work in collaboration with the Game Design to find technical solutions to meet the Gameplay & backend needs, such as monetization, game progression, matchmaking, etc.  

Responsabilities

    • Offer technical advice and provide game designers with the means to achieve their vision and ambition;  
    • Work closely with the gameplay and network programmers to ensure proper functioning with other game components;
    • Design, improve and test simple and complete APIs that allow games to access online services;
    • Coordinate and communicate with the creative teams .

Experience & Qualifications

    • Degree in computer science, physics, mathematics or equivalent degree- You have between 2 and 5 years of experience in video game development, including collaboration on multiplayer titles;  
    • You have a good knowledge of network technologies (client-server architectures, deterministic replication, prediction) and real-time systems;  
    • You have good skills in code architecture;  
    • You have a perfect command of C++; 
    • You are rigorous, have initiative and are a force of proposal;  
    • You are a good communicator and have good interpersonal skills in order to interact and collaborate with various people.
