Join the development of our most ambitious project to date: Star Wars Eclipse™ as Creative Writing Assistant. You’ll be reporting directly to the Game Director and your missions will include:
JOB DESCRIPTION:

o Scheduling: help manage the Game Director’s calendar, balance meeting conflicts, and important deadlines. This includes coordinating meetings with the writers, producers, cast, and shooting crew.
o Correspondence: Handle emails, phone calls, and other communications for the Game Director, ensuring important messages are passed along and responses prioritized.
o Document Management: Organize and maintain files, scripts, notes, and other important documents. This includes ensuring that all script revisions, production updates, and key documents are properly organized and easily accessible.
o Script Tracking: Assist in managing the writing process, keeping track of scripts, revisions, and drafts. This includes making sure the writers, sound/VO, and motion capture team have the most current scripts and coordinating any changes.
o Logistics: Ensure the writers' room runs smoothly by arranging meetings, taking notes during brainstorming sessions, and helping to organize the flow of ideas.
o Research: Help with research tasks that may be needed for writing episodes, such as gathering information on topics, locations, or specific character details.
o Story and Script Notes: Assist the Game Director in reviewing storylines, script drafts, and episode outlines. Pass along feedback, etc, to the teams and follow-up.
o Creative Meetings: Attend and take the Game Director’s notes during creative meetings.
o Creative Support: Help with any additional creative tasks, such tracking character arcs, updating docs on confluence, or ensuring consistency across scene changes in coordination with the producers.
o Liaise with Other Departments: Work with production, casting/shooting team notably.
o Production Meetings: Attend meetings with the production team to understand any updates or issues in the production process and communicate them to Game Director and Game Principal Producer.
o On-Set Support: Assist as needed on the day for topics various
o Production Updates: Assist with gathering production updates impacting PCap prep & shoots, ensuring the Game Director and Shooting Director have the most up-to-date information
o Problem Solving: On occasion, the assistant may be required to troubleshoot issues that arise during production or writing, helping to resolve minor logistical challenges quickly.
THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- A first experience in the video game industry would be a big plus.
- A strong sense of self-organization and precision.
- A true communicator, able to adapt with the Game Director and the different teams.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, to adapt, and a keen sense of analysis.
- Autonomous, proactive and versatile.
- Ability to understand the production process of our studio.
- Self-motivated and capable of being involved at the highest levels of the studio.
- Mastery of English and French (written and spoken) ;
- A strict sens of confidentiality.
