As a Game Designer, you will assist the development of core gameplay features on a next-generation action-adventure in the universe of Star Wars with strong narrative core.
You will collaborate closely with the Game Director, Seniors, Leads, and other designers, in order to transform the Creative Director’s vision into a cohesive set of game mechanics. You will champion one or more areas of gameplay and be responsible for all aspects of its development. Working with a multi-disciplinary team, you will design, prototype, and oversee your features during every stage of production.
Responsibilities
- Design gameplay mechanics that delivers on the mandate given by the lead.
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with other designers, leads and stakeholders.
- Assist the product owner.
Experiences & Qualifications
- One shipped game in a AA or AAA game development studio as a Game Designer;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Great team player with the ability to champion design to other departments.
- Ability to challenge yourself to come up with creative solutions and ideas and adapt your experience to original games.
