About the Team
We are Quadcode, a fintech company excelling in financial brokerage activities and delivering advanced financial products to our global clientele. Our flagship product, an internal trading platform, is offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to other brokers.
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer (Web) to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be on building and verifying testing models during the creation of new brands, specifically targeting websites and PWA applications. Additionally, you may occasionally assist with testing Android, iOS, and desktop applications.
Tasks:
- Develop and implement testing models for new brand creation.
- Conduct manual testing primarily on websites and PWA applications, ensuring all functionalities meet quality standards.
- Use sniffer tools (such as Charles and WebSocket) to monitor, intercept, and analyze network traffic during manual testing.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure proper testing coverage and issue resolution.
- Document test cases, execute them, and report bugs with detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
- Plan for future integration of automated tests using Gherkin and Java.
- Assist occasionally with testing across Android, iOS, and desktop platforms as needed.
- Prepare and manage testing documentation, including test plans and reports.
- Work towards integrating Allure for reporting and visualization of test results.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in manual testing, particularly with websites and PWA applications.
- Proficiency in using sniffer tools like Charles and WebSocket for manual testing.
- Basic understanding of automated testing concepts, with the desire to grow into automated testing using Gherkin and Java.
- Familiarity with Allure or similar tools for test reporting and result visualization.
- Experience in cross-platform testing (Android, iOS, desktop) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Fluency in Russian and English (B1 level or above).
