With operations in over 100 countries, our extensive global portfolio includes over 90 companies. We drive progress in sectors such as online classifieds, food
delivery, payments & fintech, and edtech, consistently pushing the boundaries of technology.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a (Junior) Manager to join Prosus Risk & Audit — a lean, high-impact team based at our Amsterdam (Zuidas) headquarters. In this role, you’ll lead assurance and risk projects across our portfolio companies — covering risk assessments, controls testing, and gap remediation — and take ownership of the annual coverage plan from design throughexecution. You’ll work closely with business process, IT, security, and risk teams at our clients, and manage relationships with both local and group management to make sure our work is hitting the mark. You’ll help management find practical ways to improve their processes and achieve their objectives, and continuously look for ways to raise the bar on how we deliver. Your work in internal audit sets you up well for a broader role in the Prosus Group. The role includes up to 40% international travel and reports to the Director, Risk & Audit.

Who You Are
You have an entrepreneurial mindset and feel at home in a fast-moving tech environment. You’re tech-savvy, politically sensitive, and bring a can-do attitude to everything you do. You’re comfortable engaging with both local and group management, and you can clearly articulate why risk management, compliance, and business control matter. You are a global citizen, comfortable traveling to new places and navigating unfamiliar environments. You understand how to balance risk and control, and you thrive in a role that is largely autonomous. You work independently or alongside a small team and third-party service providers, and you know how to manage stakeholders across competing priorities without losing your cool. Your morals, ethics, and drive are solid. You hold yourself to a high standard and only sign off on work you’re genuinely proud of. You build relationships easily,
add value beyond the scope of any specific project, and you tell a compelling story. Your business English is outstanding — you can talk about risks, control gaps, and audit findings without hiding behind jargon, and anyone in the room always knows exactly what you mean.

What You Bring
● 5–8 years of experience in audit and risk, including time at a Big-4 accounting firm.
● Experience in operational, financial, and/or compliance audits or advisory projects.
● Master’s degree in accounting, business economics, finance, auditing and control, or a similar field.
● Completed a professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CIA, CFE, CISA, or CISM.
● A solid understanding of general IT controls and comfort working in a tech-driven environment.
● Confident communicator — able to engage credibly with local and group management and adapt your message to the audience.
● Outstanding written and spoken business English.
● Availability and willingness to travel internationally up to 40% of the time.
● A track record of putting AI to work, not just talking about it — and the drive to bring that thinking into everything we do.

Your Typical Day
You grab a coffee from our in-house barista and start the day reading up on the latest developments at one of our portfolio companies — staying close to the business is whatkeeps your work relevant. You lead an audit interview with a senior process owner, pushing past the surface to find the real risks behind the controls on paper. Mid-morning, you sit down with your team to align on an upcoming project — checking progress and making sure the
quality bar is where it needs to be. You work on an audit report, making sure it’s sharp, jargon- free, and plain English. In the afternoon you lead an update meeting with local management: direct, constructive, and focused on what matters. You close the day refining an AI-assisted workflow you’ve been building to take our audit capabilities to the next level. You’re not just delivering audits; you’re shaping how the function works.
