Who We Are

We are Prosus, you might not, or you might already have heard about this, but we are a global technology company powering some of the world's leading lifestyle ecommerce businesses.

Every day, billions of people across India, Latin America, Europe and beyond use our products and services to buy, sell, pay, connect and discover. In other words, exposure to a wide range of markets.

And the AI team stands in the center of all this. It gets access to all these companies, the expertise and their problems and is able to solve them at a higher pace than normally is possible, working within a single company. You will enter a high-talent-density team where everyone sets the bar high. We don't just follow the AI trends. We set them.

The opportunity

Building software has become faster and cheaper. Making something people understand, trust and care about has not.

A technically impressive product can still feel like a demo. It may work, but lack a clear idea, identity or reason to exist. This is where you come in.

You will work directly with our product and engineering teams to turn early ideas and rough prototypes into products with a point of view. You will help define how they look, sound, behave and present themselves to the world.

This is not a role where you receive a finished strategy and execute a list of assets. You will help shape the idea itself.

What you will do

You will co-own projects from their earliest stages through to launch.

Depending on the project, that might mean:

  • Finding the clearest way to explain what a product does and why it matters

  • Developing its name, positioning, voice and visual identity

  • Turning an engineering prototype into something coherent, distinctive and ready to be shared

  • Creating product narratives, launch concepts, presentations, films, demos and brand assets

  • Working with engineers and product owners to simplify complex ideas

  • Using design, writing, image-making, motion and emerging AI tools to bring ideas to life

  • Rapidly testing different creative directions and improving them through iteration

  • Knowing when something needs a complete creative idea—and when it simply needs restraint, clarity and better typography

You will often be the only dedicated brand creative in the room, but never a service department. You will be an equal member of the team building the product.

What success looks like

The products you work on:

  • Are easier to understand

  • Feel planned rather than assembled

  • Have a clear personality and point of view

  • Communicate complex ideas simply

  • Earn attention without relying on hype

  • Feel polished across every touchpoint, from the interface to the launch story

Who you are

You are a multidisciplinary creative who enjoys moving between thinking and making.

You have taste, but you can also explain and defend your decisions. You can look at a rough prototype and see what is missing: a clearer story, a stronger idea, a better interaction, a more distinctive visual language or simply less noise.

You are comfortable entering projects before everything has been defined. You do not wait for the perfect brief. You ask questions, form a point of view and start making.

You iterate relentlessly. You test, fail, learn and go again. Uncertainty gives you energy rather than slowing you down.

You care about the details, but you understand that craft only matters when it helps the idea.

You are curious about technology and willing to learn how products are built. You do not need to be an engineer, but you should enjoy working closely with them.

What you bring

Essential

  • Currently enrolled in a university or higher education program (design, branding, communication, visual arts or related field), with some hands-on experience in brand, design or creative production — through coursework, personal projects, freelance work or a prior internship.

  • Experience helping build a brand or product identity, including areas such as naming, positioning, visual direction, voice or storytelling

  • Evidence that you have shaped creative work rather than only applying an existing set of guidelines

  • Strong visual judgment and attention to typography, composition, image-making and presentation

  • The ability to translate complex or technical ideas into simple, compelling communication

  • Confidence working independently and presenting a clear creative point of view

  • Hands-on experience with one or more tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva

  • A portfolio that demonstrates both ideas and execution

Valuable, but not required

  • Experience using AI tools for writing, image-making, prototyping, video or production

  • Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Ideogram, Runway, Sora, Kling or ElevenLabs

  • Photography, filmmaking, editing or motion-design experience

  • Knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve

  • Experience in a startup, agency, product studio or early-stage environment

  • An interest in product design, interfaces and emerging technology

  • Experience building quickly with imperfect information and limited structure

We do not expect one person to be exceptional at every discipline. We are looking for someone with a strong core craft, broad creative curiosity and the ambition to keep expanding what they can do.

Practicalities

  • 6-month internship

  • Full-time

  • Office located in Amsterdam Zuid

  • Paid internship (compensation details shared during the interview)

  • Ideal start date: August 2026
