The Opportunity

The AI House Lead brings Prosus' Amsterdam AI hub to life, transforming it into the beating heart of the European AI ecosystem. This role curates world-class events, builds vibrant communities, and positions Prosus as the place where AI innovators want to be. You'll be the connector who knows what's happening in AI, who's doing interesting work, and how to bring the right people together to create magic.

The AI House is Prosus' bet on building Europe's most vibrant AI community hub. You'll have the autonomy and resources to shape this from the ground up, positioning Prosus at the center of European AI innovation while building your reputation as a key ecosystem player.

What You'll Do

Event Curation & Execution

• Design and execute a compelling events calendar: product launches (OpenClaw-style releases), workshops, talks, hackathons, and networking sessions
• Partner with leading AI organizations (TechLeap, TNW, ecosystem players) to co-host events
• Invite and host prominent speakers, researchers, and practitioners
• Manage event logistics, promotion, and post-event follow-up
• Take responsibility for maintaining the AI House calendar and the overall program.

Community Building & Engagement

• Foster connections between Prosus AI teams, portfolio companies, and external AI community
• Manage community platforms and keep engagement high
• Stay plugged into the European AI ecosystem - know what's launching, who's building what, and which trends matter
• Scout and surface interesting AI companies, projects, and talent for Prosus to engage with

Campaigns & Content

• Curate thematic programs (e.g., "AI for Good," "Generative AI Month," "ML in Production")
• Create lightweight content from events: recaps, videos, social media highlights
• Partner with AI Content Strategy Lead to amplify AI House activities
• Manage AI House digital presence and community communications

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 5 years in community management, event programming
• Background in tech events, startup communities, or innovation hubs
• Experience working with technical communities (developers, data scientists, AI practitioners)
• Proven track record of building engaged communities from scratch or scaling existing ones

Ideal Backgrounds

• Community or program manager at major tech events (The Next Web, Web Summit, Slush, TechBBQ, Collision)
• Ecosystem lead at startup organizations (Rockstart, Techleap, Startup Amsterdam, Capital T)
• Developer relations or community at tech companies
• Program manager at innovation labs, accelerators, or venture studios
