The Problem You'll Solve
Prosus is an AI-first company, but internal communications as a discipline hasn't yet been rebuilt for an AI-first world. Our lean Internal Comms team has a broad remit - campaigns, events, newsletters, intranet, portfolio coordination - and much of that work still runs on manual ways of working. This role is a dual mandate: deliver hands-on internal comms that keep employees informed and engaged, and help advance AI implementation initiatives that transform how the team works day to day.
Success looks like:
-
Internal comms campaigns on HR topics and company strategic priorities delivered from planning through execution
-
Employee-facing content across Slack, our Slack newsletter, and the intranet that is consistently high-quality, on time, and well maintained
-
Internal events - from monthly all-hands to 6-monthly strategy events - run smoothly for employees and leadership
-
The team's recurring workflows mapped, with the highest-impact AI automation opportunities identified and prioritised
-
AI-driven solutions built, piloted, and implemented in collaboration with the team
-
Measurable impact from AI-driven changes (time saved, quality, adoption), tracked alongside engagement metrics that sharpen future comms
Who You Are
You're a communicator first: you enjoy drafting a sharp Slack post, shaping a campaign, and getting an event over the line - and you take pride in the details of formatting, tone, and timing. At the same time, you're curious about how the work behind the message gets done: when you see a manual, repetitive process, your instinct is to make it better with AI. You're comfortable juggling delivery and improvement in the same week - shipping the newsletter on Tuesday, automating part of it by Friday. You take ownership early, coordinate confidently with stakeholders, and adapt as priorities shift.
You should apply if:
-
You want a role that's genuinely comms craft, including AI-driven process innovation
-
You get energy from execution: writing, editing, organising events, and seeing your work land in front of thousands of employees
-
You're comfortable with the unglamorous parts of comms delivery - formatting, version control, deadlines, follow-ups - and do them well, using AI to make your own life easier
-
You default to first principle thinking: you ask why a workflow exists before deciding how to improve it, and experiment with AI tools until they do real work for you
-
You thrive in a lean team where you'll own real work from early on and no two weeks look the same
What You Bring
Must have:
-
Strong written English, with the ability to draft, edit, and format clear employee-facing content across channels
-
Campaign and content delivery skills: turning a brief into a plan, and a plan into published comms, on deadline
-
Strong organisational skills, managing several live projects, events, and stakeholders against tight timelines
-
Detail orientation, especially with formatting and version control across drafts
-
Hands-on fluency with AI tools and a track record of using them to work faster or better - however small the example
-
An eye for process: spotting steps that can be simplified, standardised, or automated
Nice to have:
-
Experience organising internal events or coordinating across multiple stakeholders
-
Experience building simple automations or workflows (e.g., prompt libraries, no-code tools, AI video creation)
-
Studying or recently graduated in communications, journalism, HR, business, or a related field - or another background with a strong interest in comms and AI
