To help fuel that growth, we need a Credit Hire Handler to join our Claims UK team.
The role will support the UK Claims Manager and the UK Head of Claims and will influence our Credit Hire strategy as we grow, with a view to minimising leakage and achieving operational excellence through highly skilled employees supported by market-leading technology.
This role will also include serving as a subject-matter expert on credit hire as we build out our Global Claims Platform.

What you'll do
- TPA Management & Oversight: Supervise and manage the Third Party Administrator, conduct case reviews and audits, identify leakage or process gaps, and maintain a strong working relationship with regular feedback
- Technical Expertise & Complex Case Support: Provide specialist Credit Hire expertise, supporting the UK Claims Manager with large or complex cases and presentations to reinsurers and internal stakeholders
- Credit Hire Claims Handling & Capability Building: Initially manage credit hire claims directly, while contributing to the design and delivery of technical training to strengthen in-house expertise
- Platform & System Development: Support the development of the Global Claims Platform, shaping efficient processes and helping position it as market-leading
- Strategy, Governance & Compliance: Contribute to the long-term Credit Hire strategy, implement protocols and “Know Your Opponent” approaches, and ensure robust governance and performance oversight
- Process Improvement & Escalation Management: Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, digital adoption, and customer experience, acting as the final escalation point for complex or high-value credit hire cases.
What we’re looking for
- Market Knowledge: Proven experience in managing Protocol Agreements, GTA cases and awareness of all current legal cases within the Credit Hire
- Expert Level Technical Knowledge: A high level of technical competency, which can be demonstrated in case handling and through case discussion
- Data Analysis: Ability to utilise data to interpret performance trends and translate insights into actionable commercial strategies
- Stakeholder Management: Highly effective communicator and influencer with strong influencing skills, capable of building credibility and managing relationships with both internal senior leaders and external partners.
