We are looking for a Specialist Technical Product Management based in our offices at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) in Belval, Luxembourg.
WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the technical transfer of finished products from formulation development into manufacturing sites
- Coordinate CMO onboarding and readiness for new products
- Drive and coordinate scale-up activities (pilot batches → first industrial production)
- Create and maintain integrated technical launch plans across stakeholders
- Define, track, and enforce milestones, deliverables, and timelines
- Identify technical risks early and lead mitigation planning and execution
- Align internal functions to a single technical truth and drive decision-making
- Lead technical readiness checks prior to production approval and release
- Serve as the technical lead interface toward CMO project managers
- Ensure technical alignment between internal functions and external partners
- Own technical coordination of post-launch change activities including raw material changes and specification updates
- Ensure compliant and controlled implementation of changes into routine manufacturing
- Take technical ownership after development freezes
- Ensure long-term manufacturability, compliance stability, and process robustness
- Maintain technical oversight to avoid deviations, supply risks, and quality instability
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS:
- M.Sc. (or higher) in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in technical product management, product development, or a comparable technical role within the food, nutraceutical, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of formulation development, product specifications, and product lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable decisions.
- Structured, analytical mindset with strong ownership and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- German would be considered an advantage.
