Role Overview

    • The Enterprise Risk Management Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing risk management operations pertaining to operations, compliance, and settlement risk. This position requires strategic planning and execution of internal control measures to ensure the company's risk management framework is robust and compliant with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include providing reasonable assurance on the effectiveness of the organization’s risk management and the strength of internal controls.

Responsibilities and Duties:

    • §  Execution of comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, incorporating best practices and industry standards.
    • §  Conduct regular risk assessments to identify, assess, and prioritize risks across all business functions.
    • §  Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish risk appetite and tolerance levels, aligning risk management strategies with organizational objectives.
    • §  Design and implement risk mitigation plans and control mechanisms to minimize exposure to operational, compliance, and settlement risks.
    • §  Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk controls through ongoing testing and review processes.
    • §  Provide guidance and support to business units in implementing risk management processes and procedures.
    • §  Facilitate risk awareness and training programs to enhance risk culture and promote proactive risk management behaviors.
    • §  Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends related to enterprise risk management, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • §  Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior management and the board of directors, highlighting key risk trends, issues, and recommendations.
    • §  Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by identifying opportunities to enhance risk management practices and optimize business processes.

Qualifications and Key Skills

    • §  Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CRM, FRM, CFA) preferred.
    • §  Proven experience in enterprise risk management, with a minimum of 5-7 years in a similar role.
    • §  Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000).
    • §  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess complex risks and develop practical solutions.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional areas and influence stakeholders at all levels
