We are looking for a Senior Product Lead for the Africa business supporting Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa and working closely with leadership to develop and implement the Global Product Strategy.

To succeed in this role, you should love to build awesome products, thrive on analyzing, stay ahead of the market trends and understand the customer and the ecosystem, and shouldn’t be afraid to get your hands dirty.
 
What you’ll do: but not limited to
·       Develop and drive the product strategy
·       Lead the Africa Product team as part of the global payments organization
·       Maintain relationships with Key partners and vendors
·       Monitor and analyze product performance to drive continuous improvement
·       Work with cross functional teams spread across different geographies, including operations, commercial, engineering, etc
·       Own priorities and manage the product roadmap of the team
·       Understand compliance, legal and privacy impact happening in the market and impact to PayU business
·       Lead products lifecycle from ideation through technical development, and launch
·       Research competitors’ services and products and explore new ways of improving your product
·       Translate merchant and internal stakeholders needs and different regulations into product goals and features.
·       Coordinate product releases with marketing, sales, operations and development teams
 
Requirement:
 
8+ years of product management experience.
Strong payments experience
Experienced people manager
Ability to work across geographies
Ability to create strategies and drive decision
Proven experience in managing and executing global projects with clear tracking and performance measures.
Team player and ability to drive culture across organization
